Getting Started with Your Minecraft Server
Once your Minecraft server order is provisioned, you can manage it through the control panel. This guide covers the first steps to get up and running.
Accessing Your Server
- Log in to the client area
- Navigate to Services → My Services
- Click your Minecraft server, then click Go to Panel to open the control panel
The panel is where you start, stop, restart, and configure your server.
Starting Your Server
From the control panel:
- Click the Start button on your server's console page
- Watch the console output — the server is ready when you see
Done! For help, type "help" - Your server's IP address and port are shown at the top of the panel
Connecting from Minecraft
Java Edition
- Open Minecraft Java Edition and click Multiplayer
- Click Add Server
- Enter your server's IP and port (e.g.
192.168.1.1:25565) - Click Done, then select the server and click Join Server
Bedrock Edition
- Open Minecraft Bedrock and go to Play → Servers
- Scroll to the bottom and click Add Server
- Enter the server address and port shown in your panel
- Save and connect
Accepting the EULA
Minecraft requires you to accept the EULA before the server will start. If your server stops immediately after the first launch:
- Go to the File Manager tab in the panel
- Open
eula.txt - Change
eula=falsetoeula=true - Save the file and start the server again
On 3LifeHosting.com servers, the EULA is typically accepted automatically during provisioning.
